RE: Regarding Your Request to Meet God
RE: Regarding Your Request to Meet God
By Alin Sengjaroen
Dear Samuel,
I am writing to inform you of your inquiry to GOD INC.
Your presence is unwelcome in our homeland of bountiful seeds,
bestowed upon our children of native land rich with history.
The veins that run in your body are akin to no other here;
thus, we, unfortunately, cannot accept you.
In our —land, we are the pure, sanctioned blood,
and you whose essence flows diagonally as opposed
to our rivers, falling from the sky. Please understand
that as the keeper of our holy building, I cannot open the gates
to those diagonal or horizontal–tainted to our vertical soil.
Regardless, thank you not for your sincere,
yet futile request. Our land values truth, and truthfully,
it is clear–you should have known from the start the nature
of this application’s outcome. If you are offended
by my earlier statement, it is clear that you do not belong here
and thus, I ask you to leave for your own and everyone’s sake.
We wish you the best of luck.
P.S. Love thy neighbor.
Faithfully,
Jane Doe from —land.
(geographically distant from God’s native land,
yet I dictate who can and cannot be bestowed by His light)
